Today’s post was definitely one of the more fun posts I’ve written in a while. Yesterday, Governor Hogan issued a “stay at home” order, which, from what I’m reading, is nothing more than a semantic change. Grocery stores are still open, restaurants are still open for carry out we can (blissfully) still go on walks. Someone unfortunately decided to host a bonfire this past weekend with 60 people and welp, now there’s stronger language and stronger enforcement attached. We’ll survive.

In the meantime, I’ve been rediscovering the wonderful world of board games with Jim (his recommendation is below) and am OBSESSED with the idea of “cooperative games.” If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, basically you’re not competing against other players on the game. Everyone is working together to “beat” the game itself. It takes some getting used to, but it’s really fun!

The game we keep playing is called Pandemic. Is it a little macabre given the current circumstance? Maybe, but I actually think, in some weird way the game is educational AND it’s nice to combat a pandemic when you win, even if it’s totally fictional! I, for one, feel like I’m doing my part by playing it.

Anyway, I crowd sourced some of my friends to ask which games they’re playing now that they’re stuck at home for the foreseeable future and I got some really fun answers! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Have a fabulous Tuesday.
