Have you ever wondered how bloggers, Instagram influencers or even your every day social media guru makes money? Do you want in on the action but have no idea where to start?

Look no further.

Phew, did that sound too salesy? Let me back up.

This is my cute nephew modeling the ABC Baby Care Set which makes a great baby “sprinkle” gift for the minimalist second-time mama.

My story

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know that blogging has been a thing for me since high school. Blogs were a journal of sorts for me for years and I treasure some of the memories I wrote there. I love them so much, in fact, that I moved many of them to this blog, and all of my study abroad adventures can be accessed HERE.

I had no idea that blogging was something that can be not only a money-maker but a career for some people. One of the many ways bloggers do that is by promoting products. If you read blogs carefully, you’ll see that they’re recommending outfits, beauty products, books, etc. will earn a commission if you click on it or buy it. I love supporting my fellow bloggers and appreciate when they point me in the direction of a great buy. In fact, a dress from Belk that I found on THIS blog post (gingham one under her “wish list”) just arrived today and it’s adorable.

Enter Arbonne.

I’ve been using Arbonne products since I was 9 years old when my mom and her friends thought that hosting an Arbonne party for our Brownie troop would suffice for us earning the personal hygiene badge.

I wish I was kidding.

I started with the acne line as a tween (it’s been updated since then, don’t worry), graduated to the FC5 Line, which is now called PrepWork, and have settled on the Re9 Advanced set, which I’ve used since I was 25, but I’m getting ahead of myself…

When I was getting close to graduating college, a lot (and I mean a LOT) of girls started selling Arbonne, so I thought I would try too. I quickly concluded that sales were not for me and abandoned the idea forever.

Or so I thought.

When I started to gain more traction on my blog and decided that sales are, in fact, for me (I sell standardized tests for my day job), I approached my friend Lauren to see about giving it another try. I asked her a million questions, did a TON of research (see my research findings HERE), and have since dipped my toe in the water.

And guess what?

I get all of the products I want for free and earn a bit extra each month with minimal effort. I don’t hound people to host parties, bug friends or do any of the weird stereotypical MLM stuff we’ve all witnessed. I just talk about the products I genuinely use and love on social media, answer questions, people order stuff and I earn a commission on it.

And you can too :).

Why Arbonne?

  • 35% Commission right off the bat (and you get 35-50% off products for yourself. Bliss.)
  • $49 signup fee
  • No website fee (and people can order directly from it!)
  • No minumum
  • No hounding from your upline (it’s whatever you want it to be!)

Simply put, I have always and will always love Arbonne skincare products, so talking about them is easy for me. All products are 100% vegan, organic, gluten free, soy free and cruelty free. Not only that, but they work and I love, love love them. There are a lot of “clean” products in drugstores now but frankly, they don’t work as well (Trust me, when I was going through a broke teacher phase in my 20s, I thought I’d try some clean drugstore brands to save money, and they’re not as effective especially for people who, like me, are prone to dry skin. Fortunately, Santa was always willing to get Arbonne products for me).

I started with the Arbonne 30 detox (and became hooked on THIS shake mix) when I became a consultant and immediately fell in love and felt like a million bucks. See?

And, when I was trying to clean up my makeup, switching from crappy drugstore brands that typically have several carcinogens in their ingredients, Arbonne was a no-brainer.

Using clean beauty and skincare products is SO important; anything that you put on your skin gets absorbed in to your bloodstream within 26 seconds. Even though Arbonne isn’t the only clean beauty product company out there anymore, I still think it’s the most effective and it’s still my favorite :).

How to sign up as a consultant

1. Go to my Arbonne website.

2. Scroll down a bit and click here…

3. Then click here…

4. Add some products to your bag that you’ll use with your new discount! Once you start adding products to your bag, you’ll also get to choose a free gift 🙂

I never, ever want anyone buying things that they don’t need. I definitely recommend the ASVP Arbonne Essentials Value Pack. You’ll get the whole Arbonne 30 kit for $222, which is a $450 value (and I promise you’ll love it all). Another thing I recommend is one of the Re9 skincare lines and some pieces of makeup. If you’re really a beauty guru, the makeup ASVP is also great.

5. Email me at brittanylhigdon@gmail.com and we’ll discuss your plans, desires, and strategy going forward.

6. You’ll have access to weekly online trainings to help you make the most out of this! Our team is full of gorgeous, amazing, motivated, normal girls who will be your cheerleaders the whole way.

Thanks for hearing me out, friends! I love that there are so many opportunities to make money online these days, and Arbonne is a great way to do it! I would love for you to join me!
