Happy Happy Friday, everyone!

Today I’m teaming up with some other lovely bloggers (they all go to the same church in McKinney, TX… how fun is that? Hi, Andrea, Erica, and Narci) to bring you my Friday favorites. It’s been a while since I’ve done a post like this, and I sure hope you enjoy!

1. Glass smoothie straws. If you follow me on Instagram stories, you know I have a severe obsession with Arbonne Vanilla Protein + frozen mixed berries + almond milk. Like, I actually look forward to it every day. It’s delicious. BUT, one drawback was that the smoothies end up being kind of thick, making it somewhat difficult to drink. Enter glass smoothie straws. These are dishwasher safe, nice and wide, and come with a little scrubby brush. I use them daily and think they deserve an honored spot as one of my FAVORITES.

2. Chattanooga, TN: I’ll dedicate a whole post to this soon, but I went to Chattanooga for a brief work trip last week and loved it. Have you ever been? It’s a super cute southern town with a ton of history, great restaurants, and amazing scenery. And, yes, I saw the Chattanooga Choo Choo.

3. Italian cookies. Lately I’ve been on a total kick where I want allllll the Italian cookies. My dad took me to this amazing bakery in Parma, OH when I was home in Cleveland a few weeks ago, and I actually kind of resent that I lived 30 minutes away from it for 18 years of my life and am only just now learning about it. Give me those leaf cookies and rainbow cookies for days. Anyway, the bakery in Parma is Colozza’s and is incredible. They also do an amazing Cassata cake.

A little Catholic humor for your Friday….

4. Peonies. How much do we love this time of year when you can get peonies at Trader Joes? They’re so fun, and I love how big and blossomy they get!

5. Arbonne 30. Again, if you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’m now on day 5 of Arbonne 30, which means no Italian cookies for me for a bit. I’m telling y’all, though. It’s amazing and I feel like a million bucks. It’s certainly one of my FAVORITES because I sleep like a rock on it, which makes for great days, amazing moods, and productive grinds. I’m having my best month ever at work, and I think the insane productivity has a lot to do with just being healthier!

6. Dr. Marty Dog Food: This might not be a favorite for me personally, but Cannoli and Frickle sure give it their imprimatur. Basically, Dr. Marty is a world-renown vet who has treated Oprah and Martha Stewert’s dogs. He has done extensive work to expose the unethical, unhealthy, and disease-causing pet food industry for years, and recently came up with his own formula and my boys loooove it. Feeding them Dr. Marty food is one of my FAVORITE parts of the day because they get so excited.

7. My Southwest Credit Card: This is dumb, but I get so much joy from learning how many airline points I get each month from my SW Visa. That being said, as I mentioned before, if you are not the type of person who has strong willpower to NOT overspend and will not pay in full EVERY month, it’s not worth having a credit card, no matter how great the points system is. If you are self-disciplined, get this one. Seriously. You accrue points like crazy, so much so that I almost never have to pay for airline travel out of my own money.

8. Iron Rooster: If you live in Annapolis and are not totally demented, odds are you frequent this place for brunch. James IV and I recently went there to indulge, and it did not disappoint.

9. Outlander: The absolute last thing I have time for right now is TV, but, alas, my friend Natalie got me completely hooked on Outlander. Have you seen it? It’s sooooo good. I visited Scotland a few summers ago for the first time and can’t wait to go back. It’s an amazing country with such an interesting and complex history, and this show portrays a small sliver of it.

Welp, there ya have it, friends! I hope you have a great weekend that’s relaxing and all you hope it to be!
