I can’t believe another year is in the books…  A year ago I said the same thing, and now it’s almost 2016…  Travel back a year with me.  I can’t believe how much has changed!!

Happy New Year, blog babes!

I spent the nice long break both at home in Ohio and then in Marco Island, Florida to ring in 2015.  It was beautiful and relaxing, and now I’m finally ready to be back in a routine!

Just wanted to share some highlights from 2014.  Because, I’m sure you really, really care.  It was a wonderful year with extreme highs and extreme lows.  I said goodbye to a dear family friend, a sorority sister, a very influential priest, and watched helplessly as friends buried parents and grandparents.  2014 also brought an abundance of new life, most notedly two of my best friends from home (who are sisters) who welcomed their baby boys five days apart this fall, and a dear friend from college who welcomed her baby girl in the spring.  I moved to the Maryland side of DC (after saying incessantly that it would never happen), and love it.  I was a godmother/confirmation and RCIA sponsor for the first time..  to a lovely lady who is actually older than me ;).  I traveled to New York three times, became involved in Crossroads Cultural Center, went on the CL Family Vacation at Wisp in Deep Creek, MD (it was amazing!), brought some friends to Cedar Point for the first time, traveled to New Orleans to visit a friend, traveled to Boston, Tennessee and SW Virginia (ever heard of the Carter Family Fold?  Worth the trip), Florida twice, and Ohio for a sorority reunion.  Last winter was snowy.. So so sooo snowy..  Cannoli was a zebra for Halloween.  I saw the Browns play the Redskins in the preseason..  My mom and sister came to visit and we (naturally) hit up the Virginia wineries.  And, last but certainly not least, I got to witness my friend’s wedding in September.

Oh, and Ohio State beat Michigan.  Duh.

Toodles, 2014.  Can’t wait to see what 2015 brings!
