Once upon a time, I was a wine club member at Cobbler Mountain.  It was a great little perk, which included free wine tastings, access to the club room, all at the small price of a dozen bottles of wine.  Those days are over.  When I went to Cobbler Mountain a few weeks ago, I was beyond bummed to learn that they are phasing out their wine, and focusing on cider instead.  Now, cider certainly has its merits, but it’s no wine..  And frankly, when I’m enjoying gorgeous scenery, and sitting by a fire pit, I want a full-bodied glass of red, not some sticky-sweet cider.  No ma’am.  Not my fave.  So, all this is to say that if you like cider, Cobbler Mountain is amazing!  The tasting room is fun and dog-friendly, and outside there are several fire pits and picnic tables.  Unsolicited advice?  Get there early, stake out a spot for you and your friends, and “camp out” for the day.

Happy Friday, everyone!  Did this week take forever, or did this week take forever?
