Winery Wednesday: North Gate Winery

North Gate Winery not only has the most inexpensive yet a-mazing wine tasting I’ve ever had, they also have an optional TRUFFLE pairing. Yum! Wine+Chocolate=Yes please. Winery Wednesday

Winery of the Week is Piedmont Vineyards and Winery. The oldest vineyard in Virginia, it is owned and operated by a German family, who is sweeter than sweet. Their Hunt Country Chardonnay tops my list–has a nice buttery, creamy undertone. Amazing. It is not, however, a “spend the day” at type winery. I would definitely recommend allotting a few hours, and moving on your merry way.

Wine reviews?  All really impressive, but the Wild Boar Brut Cuvee was an unexpected favorite…
